Will this actually work on my shirts?
Yes — if your shirts have deodorant or antiperspirant buildup, this is exactly what PitRx is designed to remove.
Unlike detergents and DIY methods, PitRx breaks down the buildup inside the fabric — not just what’s on the surface.
What if PitRx doesn’t work for me?
PitRx comes with a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If it doesn’t help with your shirt buildup, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.
Will it damage my clothes?
No — PitRx targets buildup, not fabric.
It’s safe for most washable materials when used as directed.
Does it work on black or dark shirts?
Yes — and this is where PitRx works best.
It removes the waxy residue that causes dark, greasy-looking patches, which are most noticeable on black or dark shirts.
Will PitRx help remove underarm odor from shirts?
Yes — especially when the odor is trapped in deodorant or antiperspirant buildup.
Over time, buildup can trap sweat, oils, and odor deep in the fabric where regular washing can’t fully remove it. By breaking down that buildup, PitRx helps your wash remove what’s causing the smell.
Does PitRx work with natural or aluminum-free deodorants?
Yes.
Even natural and aluminum-free deodorants can leave behind waxes, oils, residue, and buildup in fabric over time. PitRx is designed to break down that buildup so it can be washed away.
What if the stain has been there for a long time?
That’s exactly when PitRx is needed.
Over time, washing and dryer heat push buildup deeper into the fabric. PitRx is designed to break through that.
Very heavy buildup may require a second application.
How do I use PitRx?
Spray directly onto the buildup, let it sit for 5–10 minutes (10–20 minutes for heavy buildup), then wash as usual.
No soaking. No complicated steps.
Full directions:
• Wash according to the garment care label.
• Shake well.
• Turn shirt inside out (always wash inside out).
• Test on a hidden area first.
• Lay the garment flat on an old towel.
• Spray the stained area of dry fabric until saturated.
• Ensure inside seams are fully saturated.
• Wait 5–10 minutes (20 minutes for heavy buildup).
• Wash and dry as usual.
• Repeat if needed.
Do I need to scrub or soak the shirt?
No — for most cases, spraying and letting it sit is enough.
For heavier buildup, you can work it into the fabric if needed.
Do I need to use hot water?
No — wash as you normally would.
Once the buildup is broken down, your regular wash cycle will remove it.
How is this different from detergent or DIY methods?
Most products treat this like a normal stain. PitRx doesn’t.
It’s designed specifically for deodorant buildup, which is why it works when regular detergent and DIY methods often fall short.
Why don’t DIY methods work?
Most DIY solutions only treat the surface.
They don’t break down the waxy structure holding the buildup together, so the problem stays trapped inside the fabric and keeps coming back.
How many shirts can one bottle treat?
One bottle treats approximately 20 shirts, depending on how heavily you apply it.
That works out to less than $2 per shirt restored.
Do I need to reapply?
For light to moderate buildup, one application is usually enough.
For heavier buildup, a second treatment may be needed.
